John Charles "Johnny" Stockman, 49, of Timpson, passed away March 25, 2009 in Timpson. Funeral services for Mr. Stockman will be at 2 PM, Monday, March 30, 2009, at First United Methodist Church Timpson, with Bro. John Richerson, Pastor Jean Ferraro and Bro. Douglas McDonald officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Timpson.

Born in Houston, Texas, on November 21, 1959, Johnny was the son of the late Emmitt Marvin and Sophia Jean (Kurowski) Stockman. He was a graduate of Timpson High School and had worked as an electrician. Johnny was a member of First United Methodist Church, Timpson.

Survivors include a son, Kristopher Stockman of Sugar Grove, West Virginia; a daughter, Cassie Stockman of Garrison, Texas and a brother, James "Jimmy" Stockman of Lake Dallas, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be 6-8 PM, Sunday, March 29, 2009 at Taylor Funeral Home, Timpson.
