I went to her house for piano lessons for several years and learned a great deal from Mrs Lucy B. Todd !! One thing I do remember well though was that if you made a mistake on the piano you got your knuckles whacked with a ruler !! OH MY ! She was a great teacher and friend to my family. I remember recieving my first certificate of any kind in her library "Class". You had to read ten books...Something like five fiction, one autobiography, one biography, several nonfiction,etc...do not remember how she knew if you actually read them. Remember recieving that certificate though....wow!!! Was I proud.
