Lee transferred to Timpson High school, I believe in 1967 from Galveston.  He had played football at Galveston and played with the great Bear team in the fall of 1968.: Lee lived in Timpson most of his adult life.  He purchased the Arthur Horton Insurance Agency after Mr. Hortonretired.  Then worked for several other insurance companies.  To the best of our knowledge, Lee was never married.

Lee was was laid to rest in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Timpson.
