We do believe there was on mistake as being in the Korea War. He may have served in Korea but the was over by the time he was old enough to be in the Army

PFC US Army Korean War & Vietnam Graveside services for James Thomas, 43 of Austin, were held Wednesday, December 21 in Fielder Cemetery. Mr Thomas was born Aug. 18, 1945 and died Sunday in Austin. He was a former resident of Nacogdoches. He was a realtor and a member of Congregational Methodist Church and served in the Army during the Korean War.
