Coach Doug Mr. Stewart was an outstanding football coach and not a bad basketball coach. He was also a fine teacher. He expected respect from his students and usually got it one way or another. He taught me a lot. Coach Stewart passed away in 1993 from heart problems. His daughter Kimberly has passed away also and they are both layed to rest at White Rock cemetery located on state high way 7 west in Shelby co.
