Services for Larry Gene Windham, 55, of Mesquite, TX, formerly of Timpson, were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, October 1, 2000 in the Taylor Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Carl Smith and Rev. Ralph Michael Todd officiated.  Burial was in Buena Vista Cemetery in Timpson.

Music was provided by Sherri Strahan and Orval Miller, Jr.

Mr. Windham died Friday, September 29, 2000 at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX.  He was born June 27, 1945 in Center, TX. to Thomas Vertis and Kathleen Stilley Windham Highley.  He was a salesman for an oilfield supply company and was a member for First Baptist Church of Timpson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas V. Windham in 1982.

Survivors include Wanda Galbreath Windham of Mesquite, TX; mother, Kathleen Stilley Highley of Center, TX; brother Wayne Windham and wife, Diann of Tulsa, OK; sister, Linda Kay Corbell and husband, Gerald of Center, TX; mother-in-law, Troy Galbreth Webb of Timpson, TX; and  numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Pallbearers were Stephen Amos, Mrk Lapaglia, David Edwards, Chris Crump, Stan Pebsworth, Matt Corbell.
