Cordell Hailey from the Class of 1964 passed away earlier in 2025.  I cannot locate a obit for him but will try to provide some information on him.His parents were P.J. (Buck) Hailey and Eloise Bryce Hailey. He had one sister, Rita Hailey Bridwell and one brother Robert Hailey.  Cordell was married to Louise Box and they had one son, Lindy Hailey.  They were later divorced.  Cordell was a outstanding baseball player signing with Kansas City in 1966.  He played three weeks with their farm club then when the season ended he was in a car wreck which ended his pro career.  He did play league softball for over 45 years.  RIP, Cordell.
