Jane Killey (Hollingsworth) - Class Of 1966 VIEW PROFILE

Jane Killey (Hollingsworth)

Jane moved to Timpson in the fourth grade. I remember that she already had her clarinet; so she thought the little "flute-i-phones" that the 4th grade band played "were toys". She went to Panola on a band scholarship. I know it was not a full scholarship, but I'm not sure how long she went to PU. Although we didn't know it at the time, her roomate was the twin sister of my futher ex-husband. Small world! She then went to Massey Business School while living with an aunt in Nac. She worked as a legal secretary for the firm of Fairchild & Hunt in Center until moving to Reno with her second husband, James Campbell. While there, she was a legal secretary by day; blackjack dealer by night. They moved back to Henderson, TX where she gave birth to a daughter, Tanya. While there, she worked for attorney Bill Wilder...soon becoming a paralegal. With 3rd (and 4th) hubby, John Hollingsworth, she moved to New London, TX. I'm not sure how much longer she worked outside the home, but farming and 3 grandchildren began taking up most of her time. In later years, she became the care-giver for our mother after her stroke. As is often the case, she neglected her own health while caring for others. (which is sooo Jane) She was too depleted to tackle both breast and colon cancer, and lost the battle on Memorial Day, 2001.

Signed,
Marsha (her sister)
