Floyd “Dean” Cuzick, Jr., age 45 of Rockwall, TX, passed away December 5, 2013. He was born February 27, 1968 in Duval, FL, to Floyd Sr. & Vikki Swanson Cuzick. Dean married Stacy Stelmar on November 28, 19...92 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rowlett, TX. He earned his Master’s Degree at the University of Management & Technology. Dean proudly served his country in the U.S. Army in Operation Desert Storm and Operation Enduring Freedom, in the Special Forces. He was a Polish linguist specialist and retired from the Army at the rank of Major after serving for 23 years. Dean attended St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Garland, TX.
He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years: Stacy Cuzick; daughters: Sara, Emily and Marissa Cuzick, all of Rockwall, TX; father: Floyd Cuzick of Center, TX; sisters: Rebecca Turisk & husband Larry of Goose Creek, SC, and Cindy Sanford & husband Jerry of Center, TX; and parents-in-law: Thomas Sr. & Ellen Stelmar of Rockwall, TX. Dean was preceded in death by his mother: Vikki Cuzick.

A funeral mass will be held 11:00am, Monday, December 16, 2013 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 950 Trails Way, Garland, TX, with Rev. Joseph Meehan officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon at the funeral home from 2:00 to 5:00pm, with a Rosary and Vigil at 4:00pm.
