Kenneth Prince, 64 of Timpson, TX passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023 in Tyler, Tx.

Funeral Service for Kenneth will be at 11:00 am Friday, March 31, 2023 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

Visitation for Mr. Prince will be from 10:00-11:00 am Friday, March 31, 2023 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

Internment will follow the service at Mt. Olive Cemetery with Brother Fred Wilcox officiating.

Kenneth grew up in the  Arcadia/Stockman community and attended Timpson High School.  He met the love of his life, Renee Prince, at church and they both were blessed with 18 wonderful years together.  Kenneth, or “Poppy” as we was also called, enjoyed hunting, fishing, and tending to Longhorn cattle.  He also delighted in his work as a contractor building and restoring homes.  He took great pride in his work and he loved his family dearly.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife, Renee Prince; sons, Derick Prince and wife April, Dakota Barr, Nathan Barr, Blake Prince; grandchildren, Camryn Prince, and one on the way.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Betty Prince; and sister Cindy Ramsey.

Serving as pallbearers are Keith Keele, Mac Sanford, Mike Hairgrove, Steven Rhodes, Allen Ross, and Orville Miller.
