Larry Crawford, 79, of Timpson, Texas, passed away on January 9, 2022, in Lufkin, Texas. He was born on January 3, 1943, in Carthage, Texas, to the late Royce and Joella (Hull) Crawford. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Timpson, Texas with Orval Miller officiating.
Larry was the unofficial “Mayor” of the Stockman Community. He loved his community and all who resided there. Larry worked as a lineman for South Western Bell for 31 years before retirement. He loved his wife and sons and spent his life making sure they were taken care of. Larry was happy to spend his days outside riding around on his John Deere tractor and taking care of his garden. Larry would watch the same old Western movies over and over again. He also loved to ride the backroads with his friends and just live the country life. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Larry is survived by his loving wife, Pat Crawford; sons, Christopher Lee Crawford, and William Zachary Crawford and wife, Pamela; brother, John Alan Crawford; grandchildren, Graycie, Carrington, Stella, and Willow Crawford.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Royce and Joella (Hull) Crawford.
