Graveside services for Sampson Doyle Fisher, 74, of Shelbyville were held Monday, May 4, 1998 at 2:00 p.m. at Corinth Cemetery in Timpson.   Rev. Dewayne Stone and Rev. Gordon Vaughn officiated the service.

Mr. Fisher was born to William Terry and Nellie(Courtney) Fisher on December 15, 1923 in Timpson.  He passed away Saturday, May 2, 1998 at Medical Center Hospital in Nacogdoches.  Mr. Fisher was a truck driver.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia (Johnson) Fisher of Shelbyville; three daughters, Susan Fisher Hudson and son-in-law Mike of Nacogdoches, Sherry Fisher, Janet and son-in-law, Del Bosque of Texas City; sons and daughters-in-law, Aaron and Brenda Fisher of Huntsville, and Terry and Kathy Fisher of Sugarland; sister, L.V. Solomon of Timpson; seven grandchildren, Stephanie Hudson, Michelle Rene Hudson Miles, Mark Bosque, Lynn Adams, Tracey Flores, Lisa Bosque and William Terry Fisher; and four great-grandchildre, Benjamin Miles, Morgan Miles, Del Adams and Victoria Flores.
