Bernard Joseph Hawthorn was the son of Bernard and Aleen Hawthorn.  Bernard father was the mayor of Timpson for several years.  He had at least two sisters if not a third.  They were Hazel, Doris and we believe Sue.  He married Hazel Ethel Lacey in 1933.  Bernard died on October 24, 1961.
