Mable Olin Rhodes was born on September 15, 1894 to parents James F. Rhodes and Minnie L. Rhodes.  The 1910 Census showed the family lived on the Garrison Road.  It appears she had lots of siblings.  Seven at least, Cyril, Gladys N., Evelyn E., Inez N., Frank G., Vida M., and Donald W. Rhodes. 

She graduated form Timpson in 1914.  The 1920 Census shows that most of the family was living in Dallas on Pennsylvannia Avenue. She was working as bookkeeper.  Again in the 1940 Census she was still a bookeeper and working as a bookeeper.  She was unmarried at this time. 

Mabel died on Oct. 30, 1979 in Dallas and in the family plot in Restland Memorial Park in Dallas beside Donald and Elveta Rhodes.

Both census show that she only completed two years of high school not three so we are not sure if she graduated in 1914 but she did attend high school in Timpson.
