1958, January 7: Age 68, Passed at his residence 423 Albany Avenue, Shreveport, Louisiana after a lengthy illness. Past Master of Waskom Lodge 1254 F & A M and was a member of the Scottish rite, American Legion and Broadmoor Christian Church. He was survived by wife Saidie, brother J. Frank Haden and two sisters, Miss Madian Haden and Mrs. George E. Kennedy.

1958, January 8: Services held at the Osborn Funeral Home with Rev. Leroy Munyon, Pastor of the Broadmoor Christian Church officiating. Burial in the Forest Park Cemetery, Shreveport, Louisiana.
