Jim Taylor was born in Januray of 1887 to parents William Rial Talyor and Mary E. Wilson. He had at least eleven siblings, David Marion Taylor, Lucy Taylor ,Mary Ann Taylor, Williiam Albert Taylor, James Short Taylor, Frances Elizabeth Taylor, Henry Harris Taylor, Thomas Edgar Taylor, Tat Charley Taylor, B. Taylor, and Tot Carroll Taylor. Jim graduated from Timpson in 1908. He served in the Army as a captain. He was married to Vallie Price Taylor a longtime teacher. We do not know much about Jim except he died at relative young age of about 45 on January 2, 1932 due to an accidental gunshot wound. He was laid to rest in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
