James W. Willis was born on March 1, 1918 to parents James and Carrie Lema Willis.  According to the 1920 Census he had at lest four full siblings, Blanch Willis, Emma Jean Willis, Marjorett Willis and Dorothy Willis.James gradauted from Timpson in 1935,  according to the 1940 Census he was living in Shrevport. 

It appears he enlisted in the Air Corp on March 18, 1942.  Not much is known of his later life except he died on April 4, 2000.
