Samuel E. McLeroy was born on March 18, 1918 to parents Solomon E. McLeroy and Estill A. McLeroy.  We believe he had at least one siblings according to the 1920 Census which was Merriam E. McLeroy.  He graduated from Timpson High School in 1935.   He was a Captain in the Army in WWII according to his headstone.   Samuel died on August 12, 1996 and was laid to rest beside his wife, Ruth who passed in 2003 in the Corinth Cemetery.
