Alene Prince Ramsey, 93, passed away Saturday morning, Sept. 13, 2008, in Houston.
Graveside service: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, in Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Greenwood Funeral Home.
Alene was born Oct. 26, 1914, in Timpson and lived in Fort Worth most of her life. She was a member of University United Methodist Church.
Alene was preceded in death by her husband, Zack Ramsey, and her son, Timothy Zack Ramsey.
Survivors: Granddaughters, Shannon Ramsey Wilpitz of Houston and Stephanie Ann Ramsey of New Jersey; great-grandchildren, Ridge Alfred Wilpitz and Chayden Lynn Wilpitz, both of Houston, and Seth Austin Ramsey of New Jersey; sisters, Evelyn Alexander of Dallas and Doris Klein of Florida; and many other family members and friends.
