We are not sure if Sidney Marvin Ramsey did gradute but he did attend Timpson High School  He was born on January 17, 1886 in Chatom, Louisiana to parents James E. Ramsey and Sophia Robbins.  According to his death certificate he was a farmer.  Also according to the 1920 Census he was married to Florence Ramsey and they had at least four children, Lavernia Ramsey, Roy Ramsey, Emma Ramsey and Troy Ramsey.  Sidney passed away on February 11, 1965 and was laid to rest in the Shady Grove Cemetery near Timpson.
