Larry Douglas Bearden was born on November 1, 1914 to parents Lee Andrew Bearden and Farris "Fannie" Sapp Bearden.  According to the 1930 Census he possibly had three siblings, Ben Beaden, Marvin James Bearden, Ethel Bearden, Mildred Bearden, and Brooksie L. Bearden.  Larry played football at Timpson High School and graduated in 1935 from Timpson.  He served our country as a Navy Seabees.  Larry died on November 7, 1984 and was laid to rest in Blair Cemeter, Timpson, TX. beside his wife Elizabeth Bearden who died in 1997.
