Funeral services for Frank L. "Red" Morgan, 71, of Nederland were held Wednesday, September 8, 1993, 2 P.M. at Pat A. Riley Funeral Home in Nederland, wit burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.

Mr. Morgan died Saturday, September 4,at Mid-Jefferson Hospital in Nederland.  He was a native of Timpson, where he attended school, and was an outstanding athlete.  He lived in Nderland for 47 years. He was retired from Southern Pacific Railroad withe 40 years of service and was a World War II Army veteran.

Survivors include his son, John D. Morgan of Nederland; daughter Mary Christina Rainey of Reston, VA; borthers, J.P. Morgan of Center and William "Bill" Morgan of Anacoco, La.; sisters, Frances Helen Ferrell of Timpson and Maudell Swanzy of Center; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
