We are not sure if Elroy Burdette (E.B.) Coan graduated from Timposn HS but he did attend and based on records he would have graduated around 1929.  The following was obtained from Ancestry.Com

Elroy Burdette (E.B.) Coan was born on April 30, 1909 in Timpson, Texas.  to parents Elroy Burdette(Burt) Coan and Martha Delilah (Mattie) Weeks.  He had at least seven siblings, Icie Gertrude Coan(1898-1935), Alcie Coan(1899-?), Brady Bascom Coan(1901-1975), Robert Mansfield Coan(1903-1973), John Clifton Coan(1905-1967), Christine Burdette Coan(1907-1987), and Willie Thomas Coan(1914-1919).

We beleive E.B. would have graduated around 1929.  On December 30, 1930 he married.  Based on cemetery records we believe he married Sue White Coan.  We know tha E.B. lived in Pasadena, TX.  They had at least one child.  E.B. passed away on August 17,1962 at the age of 53 in Pasadena, TX and was laid to rest in South Park Cemetery in Pearland, TX.
