Velvin N. Taylor was born in Texas to parents Robert C. Taylor and Connie Lee Jones Taylor.  It appears she did not have any siblings and that she lived with her grandparents according to the 1930 Census.  Velvin graduated from Timpson High School around 1929. 

She died at a young age on June 1, 1934 at Saint Joseph Hospital in Ft. Worth.  According to her death certificate she had a history of sickness.   At the time of her death she was employed by the U.S. Employment Office as a clerk.  She was laid to rest in teh Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Ft. Worth, Texas.
