Savanah Puckett was a graduate of the Timpson Colored High School in 1937. She was the class secretary. The Class Motto "We Can If We Think We Can", Class Flowers "Sweet Peas and Fern", and Class Colors "Purple and Gold". Graduating Class: Oran Dannie Bell, Gannie Harris, Jocie Otis Hooper, Pearl Lue Hooper, Vivian Johnson, O. J. Martin, Oran T. Martin, James Mays, Ezra McClendon, I. V. Mosby, Lafronia Murry, Savanah Puckett, Latation Richard, and Marie Tatum. The Commencement Exercise was on Monday, May 31,1937, 8.00pm at C. M. E. Church in Timpson. I have a picture of the graduating class.
