A graveside fuenral sevice for Valenta Amos Murray, 71, will be held at 10 a.m. today, Sept. 20, at Woodlawn in Cemetery in Timpson.

Mrs. Murray, a former resident of Timpson, died Sept. 16, 1994 in Tulsa, Okla.
She was born in Timpson and lvied in LaMarque for most of her adult life.

She is survived by a son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren, Michael E. and Peggy Murray and children Mick and Morgan of Tulsa; daughter and son-in-law, Shelly Murray Wood and Don Wood of Houston; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul Wendell and Sue Amos of Tomball and Philip Ray and Joan Amos of Washington, D.C.

Mrs. Murray was preceded in death by husband, Richard E. Murray adn her parents, Paul and Willie Mac Amos.
