Harriet graduated in 1916 from Timpson High School. Her parents were Edgar Butts Clements and Nannie Louise Williams.  She was born on October 1, 1989 in Shelby County, Texas. She was married to Thomas Edgar Taylor, Sr.  She died on January 12, 1978 and buried in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
