We are not sure but we found a Augustus Irion Simpson born on April 3, 1900  in Nacogdoches County.  This would make him 16 years old when he graduated from Timpson High School in 1916 so the odd name of Irion match up with the date of graduation.  He passed away on October 24, 1985 and was laid to rest at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas County, Texas.
