Mary Ella Childs was born on June 15, 1919 in Timpson, Texas to parents Henry M. Childs and Sallie Sheilds.  In 1936 she graduated from Timpson High School.  On November 3, 1956 she married Raliegh Dale Heizman in Lovington, NM.  In 1980 they were living in Casper, WY.  On July 16, 1999 Mary passed away in Casper,  She was laid to rest in the Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery in Evansville, WY>
