We believe this information is correct for Bertram.

Bertram F. Childs was born on November 4, 1916 to parents W. B. Childs and Annie Childs.  We be;oeve these are some of his siblings:  Morris Childs, Horace Childs, Inus Childs, Dorothy Childs and Annie B. Childs.

Betram graduated from Timpson High School in 1936.  His name appears in the 1937 for the University of Texas.  He may also have joined the National Guard but later enlisted in the Army and served in World War II.  He was married to Isabella Burks.

Bertram died on November 4, 1980 in Austin, Texas.  He was laid to rest in Austin, Texas.
