Joyce was born on December 30, 1919 and graduated from Timpson High School in 1937,  Joyce had seven brothers and sisters.  Delma, Lee, Rachel, Lovis Oden, Jaems Everley, Marjorie Helen and Charles Wayne.  She married Bill Foy on October 13, 1945 and never had any children.  During World War II she was a nurse in the Navy.  Whe worked as a nurse until she retired in Jacksonville, Florida. In 1988 she passed away and was laid to rest in Jacksonsville, Florida. (Information from Timpson Area History Book-TAGHS)
