F.M. Ramsey was born on September 9, 1911 to parents John Newton Ramsey and Carrie Ann Ramsey. We think he came from a large family.  Acccording to the 1940 census he was married and living in Angelina, TX.  Family members living in the same hosue were his parents, Wilber Ramsey, Thomas Ramsey, Fannie Lou Ramsey, Rosiella Ramsey, John Ramsey, Lucille Ramsey, F.M. and Annie Mae Ramsey and Wayne Ramsey.  We believe some there were several married Ramseys living in the same household with children. His occupation at this time was listed as a farmer.  F.M. did graduated from Timpson High School in 1931.  He died on June 16, 1969 and was laid to restin the New Prospect Cemetery near Timpson. Annie was laid to rest beside him when she died in the 2000s.  F;M. is referred to as Reverend several tim, so at some point he became a preacher but where he served is not known..
