Harold played football at Timpson and also played a year at University of Mississippi.  He was a pipefitter for Monsanto Chemical Company.  He died in the Texas City disaster. He was survived by his wife, Patricia and two daughters.  He was buried in the Galveston Memorial Cemetery.
