A small town Country Boy, raised in Timpson, Texas. The eldest son of the late Carl and Ludie Beard. He joined the United States Army, serving in Germany for a number of years, and was honorably discharged in 1962.

He is survived by Linda Barrow (mother of his children). Two Sons and 1 Daughter, Michael Wayne Beard, Anthony Glen Beard (Tony) and Molly Michele Beard. Two Granddaughters, Jessica Leigh Spears, and Mckenzie Rae Beard. One Great Grandson, Kaydn Delton Sharbono. One brother, Carl Lavone Beard.

Billy not only served our Country but went on to become a truck driver and machinist and the successful owner of B.W. Beard Trucking Company in Houston. He was a current mason of the Masonic Lodge for over 25 years. He owned a Cattle Ranch in East Texas and enjoyed Hunting & Fishing as well. Even during retirement, Billy continued to successfully redefine himself in various business ventures, most notably, as a self-taught Day Trader in the New York Stock Exchange, where he thrived and excelled for the last 15 years. The one thing Billy enjoyed the most was spending his time with his family.
