Funeral services for Thomas Earl Brown, age 67, Longview, was held at noon Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2004, at the Chapel of Radar Funeral Home on Judson Road with Rev. Dean Miller officiating.  Burial was at Woodlawn Cemetery in Timpson under the direction of Radar of Longview.

 

Mr. Brown died Sunday, Oct. 17, 2004 in a Longview hospital. He was born Nov. 18, 1936 in Timpson to the late Benjamin and Clara Brown.  He had lived in Longview the past 42 years moving there from Timpson.  He was employed by Trailmobile for 22 years as a welder and also for Trinity Industries for 11 years.  He was a member of Oakland Heights Baptist church and also a 32nd degree Mason and was a member of the Longview Masonic Lodge #400.  He was preceded in death by two brothers, Benjamin Brown and Robert Brown.  He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Helen of Longview, son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Jill Brown of Mineola, Tx.; daughter and son-in-law, Nicole and Steve Bodenheimer of Longview; three grandchildren and a special aunt, Gloria Skylar of Timpson and several cousins.
