Henry Bryce

Henry passed away in March of 1999.  He was preceded in death by son Alan Bryce. At the time of his death he was living in Utah.  He was suvived by his wife of 51 years, Rulah Bryce of Utah, He was survived by his mother, Beatrice Bryce of Timpson and three sons and daughter.  .

 

 

MAGNA--Henry Warren Bryce, age 70, passed away March 18, 1999 at his home after a courageous struggle with pancreatic cancer. 

He was born April 3, 1928 in Timpson, Texas to Beatrice Shipp and Emery Bryce. Married Rulah Sorensen, April 3, 1948; later sealed to his wife and family in the Manti LDS Temple. He was an active member of the LDS Church. He held a variety of positions in Scouting, Bishoprics and Stake callings. 

He enjoyed his association with the Board of Trustees for Aspen Hills, traveling, helping family and friends and working on the park at the Magna Central Stake Center. He loved working as a Locomotive Engineer at kennecott Copper Corporation for 42 years. 

He is survived by his mother, Beatrice; wife, Rulah; four children, Stephen (Robin); Larry (Susan); Gayle (Robert) Vance; Ron (Arlene); 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Ohleen Leatherwood, Geraldine Compton, Betty Burkhalter, Phabreece Havis; and two brothers, Billy and Charles. Preceded in death by Emery (father), Winifred Burkhalter (sister), James (brother), and Alan (son). 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 22, 1999 at 12 noon at the Magna Central Stake Center, 8181 West 3320 South. Friends may call Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Stake Center and Monday, one and one half hours prior to the services, also at the Stake Center. Interment will be at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 S. Redwood Rd. Funeral Directors, Redwood Memorial Estates. 

The family appreciates and thanks all the medical personnel who gave such kind and loving care over the past months.
