Billie Joe Sapp Sr., 77, passed away on Monday, August 2, 2010, in Conroe, Texas. Billie was born Saturday, June 24, 1933, in Timpson, Texas, to the late Luther Sapp and Mamie (Fleming) Sapp. Billie was preceded in death by his daughter, Lu Leatice Sapp.

Billie is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Maxyne Sapp; children, Mayre Beaty and husband Joe of Huffman, TX and Billie Joe Sapp, Jr. of Huffman, TX, grandchildren, Misti Beaty Sak and Brian, David Sapp and Rachel, Dustan Sapp, Kristi Beaty Bell and Christopher, Rhonda Sapp Mitchell and Kenneth; great grandchildren, Lilly Sak and Landon Sapp. Numerous other loving family members and friends.

Visitation for Billie will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 from 5:00-9:00 pm. Service for Billie will be held at Neal Funeral Home, Thursday, August 5, 2010 at 2:00pm. Interment to follow in the Huffman Cemetery in Huffman, TX. Johnny Price officiating.

Pallbearers will be Russell Thompson, Les Wooley, Robert Beaty, Marvin Sikes, David Plunkett and Randy Herndon. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jimbo Williamson, Roy Wooley, James House and Buck Sloan.
