Kenneth Gene Rhodes was born on May 6, 1934 in Timpson, Texas to parents James Berry Rhodes and Bertha M. Hall Rhodes.  He graduated from Timpson High School in 1951.  He was living in Freeport, Texas and apparently admitted to John Sealy Hospital in Galveston with extensive burns on July 31, 1956.  He passed away at the age of 22 on August 5, 1956.  He was laid to rest in the Timpson Missionary Baptist Cemetery in Timpson, Texas.   At this time we do not know the causes of his burns.
