David Wayne Crawford was born on January 8, 1934 in Timpson to paents Emmett and Alice J. Hunt Crawford.  He was in the military and after his service he attended SFA where he played football.  He lived in Rusk County, TX.  In 1990 records show he married Shirley Wooten.  David died on March 11, 2001 and was laid to rest in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Timpson.
