John was the 11th and last child of Bud and Martha Oliver Luman.  He was born on May 10, 1937 and passed away on July 1, 2008 and is buried in Old Prospect Cemetery in Panola County beside his wife. He was married to Addie Ruth Mills on May 12, 1955.
