LaNell Melton at the age of 49, passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 in Union Valley, Oklahoma . She was born Tuesday, April 1, 1958 in Center, Texas, to J.B. Brown and Ruth (Chandler) Brown. LaNell was preceded in death by her loving mother Ruth Brown. LaNell is survived by her loving family, father, J.B. Brown, husband, Timothy Joe Melton and sons, Adam Melton and wife Brittany and Timothy Jake Melton; brother, Bo Brown and girlfriend Tammy; sisters, Maylia Babb and husband Keith; Cathy Duncan and husband Mike; Grandchildren, Olievea Maree and Sydney Alexsis; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Visitation for LaNell was held from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at the Neal Funeral Home. A Chapel Service for LaNell was held at Neal Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at 10:00 am. Internment followed at the Montaque Cemetery, Officiating , Rev. Wendell Kimbrough. All services were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas.
