Went into the USAF the day after graduation from Timpson High. Worked on radar and recieved a Top Secret Security clearance.
After getting out of the military,went to work for Southern Pacific Railroad ,worked as a track labor then was accepted to Locomotive engineer school and work as a engineer for twelve years running freight and passenger trains.
Left Southern Pacific after twelve years and went to work for Edward Jones investments as a financial planner.
Made million dollar producer in my third year and was made a partner in the firm the same year.
Was chosen by the training department to train brokers in the UK when the firm decided to expand into that market.
Worked in London at the Canary Wharf financial district for a while but decided that the weekly flights from DFW to Heathrow was a bit too much to do on an ongoing basis.
Decided to leave Edward Jones and open up my own independent brokerage firm in 2000 ,went with LPL Financial and am still working there.
My wife (Terri) and I love traveling and have seen most of the world,we really enjoy French Polynesia and New Zealand and are considering retiring there someday.
