After graduation I continued to work for Red Whiteside at the Chevolet dealership. I went to Moore Business Forms in Nacogdoches for an interview in October of 1973. I was hired and have been there ever since. I started in the finishing department, but I now run a collator machine. This machine glues the forms together and puts bar codes on each form. I enjoy my work because I wouldn't have been at it for nearly 37 years. In 1975 I married Kay Rhodes. We were blessed with two wonderful children Josh and Zoie. I now have 2 grandsons, Wyatt and Aiden and Josh is the proud Dad of these 2 boys. Zoie is not married. I don't have much free time because of my job and alot of overtime, but when I do I love to fish and use my metal detector. I have found some great stuff with my detector. My wife, Kay is still waiting for that big diamond ring. We live where Mrs. Crausby (the school teacher) house was. We lived in her house for over 10 years then we sold it and moved it off. We built a brick home on the site of her house. I like living in Timpson. I moved here from Center in 1969 so finished my highschool courses here. The ag. classes were my favorite. I went to many judging events. My wife and I are active members of Timpson Missionary Baptist Church where I am a deacon. I am the offical coffee maker there when we have an event. I do love my coffee. I tried to get a class reunion together a few years back. We did have it, but not many classmates showed up, but I enjoyed visiting the ones that did attend. It is alot of work to pull one together.
