Shirley Jean (Harris) Sutton passed away from complications of Diabetes. She was preceded in death by her parents Vernon and Nadine (Williford) Harris, brothers Larry David, Carl Lynn and youngest sister Rose. All of whom died of heart complications.

Shirley was survived by her husband Harold and five children (all boys); sister Wanda Lou Roberts(husband Jay), and brothers Ed(wife Victoria) and Willie Harris.

Since her passing, her brother Ed passed away of heart condition and brother Willie James was killed in a hit and run auto accident near Henderson, Texas.

Shirley was my first cousin, and we were all very close growing up. Her kindness and sweet disposition still shines on in the five children she left behind.

Shirley died on April 29, 2003 and was laid to rest in Oak Park Cemetery in Alvin, TX
