Joe Dan Frederick, 64, of Chandler AZ passed away on May 8, 2016 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Joe was born in Timpson, TX in 1951 and joined the Armed Forces in 1969. Joe lived many years in Texas and other areas of the country and Japan before moving to Arizona with his family. Joe was known for his wry sense of humor, love for barbeque, Cardinals football, his love for animals, and traveling abroad. He is survived by his partner Gregg Yazzie, his children Stacy (and James) White, Angela and Eric Frederick of Chandler, siblings Ronnie Frederick of TX and Betty Sweeney of West Virginia as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Louise Frederick, and siblings Margaret Ann Scott and Sonny Frederick. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Animal Humane Society.
