Obiturary for Sharon Oliver Soltau (Class of l963)

 

Sharon Oliver Soltau passed away on Feburary 14, 2011 in Sugar Land, Texas after a lengthy battle with Parkinson disease.  She was born on February 4, 1945 to Euell and Alliwese Oliver in Buna, Texas.  She attended Timpson School all twelve years and graduated from East Texas Baptist College with a BS degree in chemistry. 

 

Family and friends gathered for a celebration of Sharon's life on March 5, 2011 in Sugar Land.

 

Sharon is survived by her husband, Ron Soltau of Wintergreen Virginia; son, Eric Soltlau and wife Whitney of Sugar Land, Texas; one grand daughter, Madeline Soltau of Sugar Land,Texas; four sisters, Linda Oliver Roe of Center, Texas; Lois Oliver of Springdale, Arkansas, Francis Oliver Cole of Village Mills, Texas , Marcie Oliver Chisum of Baytown, Texas, and many nieces and nephews. 

 

Sharon enjoyed her family and traveling.  Sharon and Ron visited almost every state in the Unites States and also had the opportunity to visit over 33 countries.  Her family was a source of great joy and especially her grand daughter Madeline.  She will be missed by all of her family and friends
